Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a warehouse worker to join our team in APEX, NC. We are willing to train! Essential duties include, shipping and receiving, order picking, forklift driving and as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds,
• frequently lift and/or move up 25 pounds and occasional lift and/or move up 50 pounds or more.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or in-process areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Experience with the operation of a forklift is preferred.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as part number, lot number or bin number
• Fills pick tickets, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Assembles customer orders from stock and conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Process production orders for in-house kitting and assembly. Some kits are produced using a kitting machine while others are manually kitted.
• Uses computer to enter records. Compiles worksheets or pick tickets from customer specifications or notes. Prepares parcels for shipping and delivery.
• Good driving record required if duties will include making customer deliveries.
• Make deliveries to VMI customers to replenish and scan inventory bins.
• Maintains inventory, including inventory adjustments sheet.
