Staff Officer (Springfield, VA) with Security Clearance

Staff Officer (Springfield, VA) Seeking a qualified Staff Officer to join our team. This position is to support the Director and Deputy Directors (D/DD) of the Sensor Integration Office (TAS) by performing a wide range of functions and tasks, which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and implementing policy. The Contractor shall gather information, provide analysis, advice, options, recommendations, and ideas to the D/DD TAS in the management of Integrated Sensor ground projects. Duties include but are not limited to: * Assisting with the development and execution of strategic and tactical acquisition plans.
* Coordinating/collaborating with various organizations focal points to resolve issues.
* Participating in meetings at various agencies, as required by TAS leadership.
* Tracking responsibilities, status, and progress to ensure tasks are initiated and completed in the required timeframe.
* Identifying "log-jams" in programs, acquisitions, and tasks; then recommending a plan of action to correct and ensure progress toward completion continues.
* Authoring point papers and responding to short suspense taskings.
* Developing schedules and providing programmatic recommendations to leadership for assigning actions, monitoring progress, and generally facilitating progress and the completion of tasks and actions.
* Gathering information, providing analysis advice, options, recommendations, and ideas to leadership in the form of memoranda, briefings, design documents, or other artifacts that address issues or concerns.
* During assessments, collaborate with various offices and external agencies to resolve issues and provide recommendations to leadership.
* Participating the preparation of all Senior Management Reviews where TAS provides input. Position Requirements: * Experience in gathering information and critical thinking capacity to synthesize information.
* Ability to support activities and scheduling for corporate support events
* Ability to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare briefings, staff material, read-aheads, presentations and other material.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office Applications and Sharepoint.
* Ability to work independently or under limited supervisor and deliver outcomes on time.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field OR 11 - 14 years' GEOINT/IC experience
* Experience supporting Department of Defense/Intelligence Community offices and programs. Security Requirement: * Active TS/SCI Clearance ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
