Senior Communications Specialist

**Contract to Hire Opportunity; Must be open to working onsite.**

• Ability to manage the SharePoint site.

Summary: (List of some of the duties)

• Develops content for internal communications and publications; including writing, copy editing, research and proofreading.
• Assists with planning efforts for special events.
• Uses appropriate communication mediums for various target audiences.
• Leads communication planning process.
• Identifies the appropriate channels for disseminating communications, such as meeting presentations, speeches, intranet, newsletters and forums.
• Responsible for internal and external website content.
• Works with creative services, digital communications, and other marketing colleagues to develop and execute integrated, to produce integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns or new business announcements, when appropriate.
• Manage forums for effective two-way communication between staff and executive leaders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of related experience in communications, writing or journalism required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or Journalism preferred.
• Demonstrated solid strategic thinking and execution of strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentations.
• Ability to develop and grow client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
