Systems/Digital Engineer with Security Clearance

LinQuest is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) to support our Chantilly, VA Intelligence Community (IC) customer’s Systems Engineering Directorate (SED). The SE will support a team responsible for transitioning the division from document-based Systems Engineering practices to a Digital Engineering (DE) environment and implementing enterprise architecting, analysis, and digital engineering solutions that will determine the future mission architecture. The successful candidate must possess demonstrated systems engineering background and skills. We are seeking space systems engineers with a passion for learning and leading a DE transformation. You will be part of our MBSE/DE team of engineers and scientists providing solutions at the project and enterprise levels. Our MBSE/DE SE teams are leading DE transformations across the DoD, IC and for scientific organizations. Successful candidates will develop and use their knowledge of systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to help develop, implement, and deploy Digital Engineering solutions and services. Responsibilities * Maintain and support the on-going legacy enterprise systems engineering and analysis processes, tools, and methods to ensure the SED continues to meet its strategic goals and mission
* Establish and formalize the foundational Digital Engineering standards, guidance, and policies.
* Transition legacy systems engineering and analysis processes, tools, and methods to an interoperable and integrated approach
* Establish SE and DE training programs to help transform the IC customer workforce to adopt and support DE.
* Assist in the development and flow-down of system requirements
* Assist and review models and analysis in support of development and flow-down of requirements
Required Skills: * Proficient at developing guidance documents such as but not limited to style guides, modeling methodologies, and MBSE best practices
* Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
* Capable in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Required Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or other engineering discipline
* 5+ Years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering
* Familiarity with Digital Engineering and MBSE concepts and best practices
* US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI required to be considered for the position
Preferred Experience: * Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or other engineering discipline
* 10 years of Intelligence Community experience
* Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
