The Associate Director of Marketing Operations for the Individual & Family (IFP) plans is responsible for leading go to market readiness for the marketing team. The ideal candidate will be action oriented and results-driven with experience supporting a Marketing department’s operational processes. This role will also collaborate with multiple teams and departments to effectively manage the content and legal reviews and timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage marketing processes and relevant documentation in partnership with the IFP marketing team and additional partners within the UHC enterprise
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of IFP marketing processes and optimize as needed for performance and delivery efficiency and success
  • Create and maintain tracking and reporting tools to monitor project status and timelines
  • Manage collaboration and workflow management tools for content and asset management used by the IFP Marketing team, including development of requirements, implementation of an intuitive streamlined solution, and optimization as needed
  • Implement and maintain tools for providing content access to internal and external partners with traceability and governance capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with our creative, technology, and legal and regulatory partners to ensure efficient processes are implemented and timely approvals are in place
  • Serve as the internal point for Creative, Legal & Regulatory, and Technology for the Marketing Operations team
  • Manage and train a marketing analyst and creative project manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of marketing, advertising, and/or consulting experience
  • 6+ years program and project management experience
  • Healthcare industry experience, including product and legal/regulatory knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in project collaboration, workflow, and digital asset management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Workfront)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree, preferably completed or working toward your MBA
  • Process training or certifications, e.g., PMP certification, agile methodology, CSM certification
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices and multiple-channel execution
  • Proven experience of successful management of large-scale marketing teams, projects, programs, and processes
  • Ability to problem solve and take the initiative to develop solutions
  • Solid communication skills, working across a variety of teams and leaders
  • Relationship building skills to gain alignment across teams and leaders

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
