The Customer Due Diligence Associate position in Corporate Trust Services Operations will focus on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships for BSA/AML outreach and Due Diligence Review for all Corporate Trust accounts. Ensures the accurate establishment, administration and operation of the accounts. Responsible for reading and interpreting moderately complex trust and other legal documents in order to identify administrative and BSA/AML requirements and responsibilities. Ensures compliance with regulatory and risk management policies. Acts as a resource to newer account managers. Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Experience reading and interpreting complex legal documents Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Solid problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to instruct others. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization. Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment.

What will you bring to the role?
As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for customer service, ensuring regulatory compliance and will have the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve client success.
Other key responsibilities may include:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following areas: trust, financial services, or account management
  • Minimum 2 years BSA/AML experience. Customer Due Diligence knowledge, client outreach requesting and reviewing documents
  • Minimum 2 years of Periodic review processing knowledge
  • Possess the ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and resolution skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Responsible for reading and interpreting moderately complex trust and other legal documents in order to identify administrative and BSA/AML requirements and responsibilities.
