Project Manager Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Manager managing all aspects of assigned accounts. This position will be the liaison between Sales, Design, Estimating, Quality, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Ownership responsibility for all aspects of account projects including development, costing, planning, and execution.

• Initiates and monitors multiple project schedules and deliverables.

• Identifies critical callouts & concerns in supplied plans and, validates costing at execution is in line with project estimate (quote).

• Primary point of contact for project communications. Serves as the point-person between estimating, sales, installers, production, and engineering.

• Provides a high level of communication, notifying all stakeholders and managing the deliverables as they relate to customer and sales team issues.

• Has experience or aptitude for managing national rollouts or regional executions.

• Ensures that the project(s) meet quoted deadlines and executes required compliance documents as called out in the project order.

• Initiates and manages design drawing and engineering deliverables.

• Approves invoices for payment toward contracted services

• Responsible for making prudent judgment calls to resolve project-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2-years previous experience in the role of Project Manager in the fabrication of products industry, or other construction trades.

• Experience in point-of-purchase display or merchandising equipment manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Understands freight and logistics

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and associated bills of material

• Working knowledge and experience with production processes and workflow.

• Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Good working knowledge of the entire Microsoft suite of software, as well as experience with various ERP systems

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
