Installation Supervisor

EBNER Furnaces, Inc. is a global manufacturer of large industrial annealing furnaces, and custom metal fabrications. Due to growth in the U.S. operations, we are seeking a qualified individual for the following position:

Installation Supervisor

The Installation Supervisor position operates on-site and involves up to 50% travel. Duties include facilitating coordination between customer, contractors, and Ebner Furnaces. The candidate will support contractors with drawings and other related documentation in order to install Ebner equipment, check completeness of contractors’ work according to Ebner installation drawings and checklist, and make weekly progress reports to their Manager. When not traveling, this position will support the Ebner workshop.

The Installation Supervisor position requires strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to work with local safety regulations, and the ability to read and interpret drawings and parts lists. The use of man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, overhead cranes, and measuring equipment are required on a regular basis. The use of grinders, drills, welders, and miscellaneous hand tools are required periodically.

The Installation Supervisor should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Installation Supervisor performs a variety of tasks and works with minimal supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Successful candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be detail oriented. Experience with Microsoft Office 2010 is required and SAP experience is a plus.
