Are you living your life''''s work?Position Description:Penn Medicine Princeton Health is now offering a Referral Bonus of $250 for its Nutrition Department positions. Candidates who accept employment in the Nutrition Department will be offered a Sign-On bonus of $500 after meeting the probationary period. Responsible performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering services functions that may include patient visitation, tray assembly,distribution & retrieval, food prep, assembly and service. Responsible for maintaining food safety, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchenequipment. Responsible for providing an exceptional, caring and compassionate experience for patients and their families, visitors and guests ofthe hospital. Responsible and accountable for achieving patient satisfaction scores according to established departmental goals. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Accurately sets up assembly line for tray assembly. Prioritizes tickets and assembles trays according to tray ticket order in a timely and accurate manner.2. Maintains proper hand hygiene. Performs and follows protocol for allergens, special diets and patient identification when assembling/deliveringfood to patients.3. Prepares patient cold food items, sandwiches on deli in restaurant, operates fryer and serves food at buffet station. Follows recipes and portioncontrol, utilizing correct utensils for portioning and serving. Measures and monitors food temperatures to maintain food quality and meet regulatory standards.4. Maintains, cleans, stocks and rotates food in refrigerators, freezers, condiment bins and other storage areas. Discards expired food promptly.Applies appropriate expiry labels to food in storage following department labeling & dating standards.5. Contributes to patient satisfaction goals by providing exceptional service, following scripting, and approaching each patient while being polite,courteous, smiling and respectful.6. Contributes to a positive customer experience in the restaurant by greeting and acknowledging them, educating them about menu offerings, promotions, ingredients and allergens. Provides service recovery promptly, directs customer to supervisor/manager when necessary.Minimum Requirements:High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work Experience At least one year previous work experienceAdditional Information:We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
