Develop local and regional client relationships to obtain opportunities for geotechnical engineering investigations and construction materials testing services
- Manage various traditional geotechnical engineering investigation projects including high-end private facilities, industrial facilities, schools, universities, manufacturing, dams and transportation.
- Perform complex geotechnical engineering investigations, analyses and development of appropriate solutions to complex geotechnical problems.
- Development of final geotechnical engineering design recommendations suitable for use in the design of construction of the related facility.
- Mentor staff personnel.
- Project management of all phases of projects including, drilling, lab testing, engineering analyses, report preparation, invoicing and client management.
- Management and control of project budgets
- Technical and fee proposal preparation
- Reviewing reports prepared by other staff
- Manage limited construction materials testing projects and field technicians

Requirements
- Indiana Professional Engineer registration (or ability to attain Indiana PE by reciprocity)
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10 years relevant experience practicing as a geotechnical engineer
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical engineering emphasis
- Experience with specialty testing methods such as CPT, PDA, cross-hole sonic logging, geophysical testing, etc.
