About The Company

Our client is a fast-growing accounting and consulting firm looking to expand its royalty practice.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with professional staff on catalog valuations, royalty inspections of music companies and other licensees of intellectual property on behalf of the Firm’s clients
• Analyze large datasets using Excel (possibly Access/SQL)
• Create databases and summarize statements
• Review, interpret and apply contract terms
• Perform detailed analyses, prepare workpaper and claim schedules
• Assist with identification issues and preparation of reports
• Communication with points of contact at music companies and other licensees of intellectual property
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Expert in MS Excel—pivot tables, lookups, etc. (MS Access and/or SQL database querying skills would be a plus)
• 0 to 2 years of music industry royalty experience
• Basic finance and/or accounting skills, a plus
