The Facilities Assistant Manager works closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure health, sanitation and safety conditions at Eataly are always met. Reports to the Facilities Manager works closely with the Warehouse and Housekeeping Manager
- Maintains accurate records of the conditions of all facilities in the building
- Handles weekly administrative duties, including but not limited to: scheduling, inventory and vendor management
- Ensures efficiency and good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities, including but not limited to: walk-ins, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services and off-site storage
- Guarantees exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Housekeeping, Facilities or Custodial Supervisor or Manager
- Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for 8 hours in length, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidays
- OSHA Certification
