Job Description:

• Architect, Design and deploy Azure platform solutions to support data integration, transmission, transformation, reporting and analytics around healthcare data
• Design and develop modern data solutions leveraging components like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks and PowerBI.
• Provide oversight and guidance to Client's Azure Data Engineering, Business Intelligence teams other IT and business teams
• Provide expert solutions coded in languages e.g. Python, Spark, T-SQL, Scala, C#.
• Utilize and provide guidance regarding DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.
• Experience working with Azure data platforms, integration techniques and self-service data preparation.
• Assist business and technical users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models and pipelines.
• Design, develop, implement, and support complex Azure PowerBI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making
• Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications
• Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing, ETL methods, etc.
• Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the data ecosystem
• Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse.
• Ensure best possible performance and security of infrasturcture
• Performs additional duties and activities as required.
• Good experience in Azure architecture, design and development. Significant experience as BI/DW architect on several BI/DW initiatives
• Experience working with health care data standards (X-12, FHIR, HL7) strongly preferred
• Data security at a macro and micro level (platform, row-level, encryption, etc.)
• Rich Data/Dimensional modeling expertise
• Experience with Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information Management
• Expert knowledge of Azure tools and services centered around data and analytics (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL etc.)
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft BI platforms (SSRS, SSAS and SSIS)
• Expert in BI Report and Dashboard development
• Experience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data from ODS, Staging and Data Warehousing, cloud and hybrid
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI and SSRS).
