Collectively DCN and the carriers have more than 40,000 miles of fiber network deployed and employ more than 1,000 North Dakotans. With office locations in Bismarck and Fargo the DCN organization offers the successful applicant a rewarding and career-fulfilling destination. The CFO is an integral part of the DCN executive team. Due to a planned retirement of the position incumbent after more than two decades, we are seeking a CFO with the experience, vision, and leadership skills to join us in our future leadership efforts. The CFO will have responsibility for a comprehensive set of financial responsibilities and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

• An organizational leader with experience leading a customer-centric organization, and a demonstrated working knowledge of accounting and financial systems and requirements.
• A strong set of communications and interpersonal skills that can be equally effective with customers and staff.
• An individual that is comfortable setting accounting and financial policies, and managing their implementation
• A team builder that is focused on continual improvement and organizational excellence.
