As a Travel Merchandising Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our projects and monitoring worksite activities, while supervising our field teams. You will also be responsible for completing small build outs and providing construction services within retail businesses operations according to specifications provided by the customer.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ leading a team.
  • 2-4+ years’ as a construction worker on retail construction projects (remodels/renovations, new builds, etc.).
  • Basic ability to read design drawings/blueprints.
  • Ability to travel in your state and surrounding states up to 90% of the time.
  • Available to work Sunday through Friday nights. Typical shift is 8pm to 6am (but actual hours vary depending on the project). Daytime and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Reliable transportation that you do not share.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Must have basic tools—we will provide a small list (e.g., cordless drill, hammer, screwdriver, etc.).
  • Ability to use power tools, including skill saw, miter saw, and jigsaw required.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent is highly preferred. Education considerations will balance against the individual’s proven experience in construction renovation/remodel.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Field Technicians.
  • Install flooring, wall framing and drywall in a workmanlike manner (level, plumb, and with minimal waste).
  • Evaluate materials for defects and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Safely operate scissor lifts and forklifts as needed.
  • Accurately measure the project space and calculate the material needed.
  • Determine and make detailed lists of the materials needed for each step of the job.
  • Tactfully coordinate and direct workers as needed.
  • Communicate with project teams and field management personnel via daily emails and field reports.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending for up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to pull, push, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing and physically able to SAFELY climb ladders up to 20 feet high.

Pay:

  • $19.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
