Join us and you will be working on different challenges every day. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Manufacturing Technician.

As a member of the production department your responsibility is to build, document, and support electro-mechanical assemblies used in an industrial automated test and manufacturing environment. The position requires a high level of assembly expertise, frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting and the use of standard hand and power tools. The Manufacturing technician needs to be a self-starter with a high attention to detail who can assist in leading the assembly team to support ARC’s mission by producing defect free products that exceed our customer's expectations in quality, delivery, and cost.

Top 3 Responsibilities

  • Assembling electro-mechanical assemblies and equipment rack test stations in accordance with build documentation, quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Read, interpret and follow: blueprints/schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, bill of materials, route cards and other instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Ability to provide troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis and effectively communicating recommended corrective action.

Other Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with standard operating procedures and tools used by ARC
  • Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
  • Follow, develop, and maintain build processes
  • Work with other members of the production group in order to assemble products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • May be required to work 2nd shift, overtime, or flexible schedule
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Skills

  • A “get it done” approach to solving problems while keeping within company guidelines and objectives.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently without constant supervision.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Thorough knowledge of English and Metric units of measurements, as well as basic mathematics.
  • Knowledge of common manufacturing terminology and techniques, including welding, machining, and fabricating is a plus.

Education and Experience

One of the following is required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Vocational School or 3+ years of experience in related technical field, including operating as part of a production team.
