This electric vehicle manufacturing company is looking to bring on a senior software engineer who is passionate about developing products and services to advance the shift to sustainable mobility. They are creating solutions that redefine traditional automotive economic and remove the tedious pain points of conventional ownership. Their office is located in Palo Alto; however, they are offering fully remote workspace. This is a contract to hire position. The technology stack you will be primarily using will be python coding, Django and Flask frameworks, REST API development, AWS cloud technologies, and database experience with DynamoDB.

This company also manufactures autonomous electric vehicles intended to offer a comfortable and eco-friendly drive experience. They are looking to bring on a senior software engineer who will be a key contributor of designing, developing, and deploying into production, cloud-based applications and services that support different partner teams for their customer facing user experience. You will be designing and building web services and APIs that support these data processes. The core services platform team is a foundational team that supports all partner teams with their orchestration workflow & API needs that are common across the multiple teams to build a scalable backend services eco-system. Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient with python coding
• Proficient with application frameworks such as Flask or Django
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and ecosystems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or engineering
• Five years of experience in a software development position

Desired Skills & Experience

• Exposure to lambda or serverless computing
• Master's in computer science or related fields
• Exposure to Dynamo DB with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL models
