WHO WE WANT

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Employ multiple channel strategies within the larger business, to balance varied turn requirements and a range of product lifecycle expectations.
  • Lead projection and sales planning company wide. Monitor retail sales plans for 3 channels of business – direct/ dot.com, wholesale and amazon.
  • Support open-to-buy analysis and reforecast sales, inventory, and gross margin on a monthly basis
  • KPI reporting (weekly) – review and compile sales and product performance at the channel level, make action recommendations
  • Analyze Retail sales: product performance, size selling and other data metrics to inform management, merchandising and sales teams
  • Hindsight seasonal performance; summarize and share learnings
  • Manage product lifecycle to optimize sales and profitability - from buy inception through exit strategy – on annual/seasonal/monthly basis
  • Work in tandem with merchandiser to optimize & validate future assortments.
  • Build and maintain assortment analysis tools
  • Ensure replenishment, inventory transfers, and production orders are crafted to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure reporting and data integrity: set attributes at the sku level to optimize analytics


EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5-7 years in similar roles: buying, planning, analytics. Must have retail planning.
  • Retail experience; ideally digital. Planning wholesale and Amazon business a plus. Better brands preferred.
  • Must exhibit proficiency in retail math- stock to sales ratios, margin, markup, sell-thrus, months of supply etc.
  • Advanced Excel including pivot tables, v-lookup, index match. Ideal candidate can generate reports in Tableau.
  • Comfortable with working in and bringing digestible/actionable conclusions to large sets of data
  • Exhibits leadership qualities in a cross-functional environment; collaborative with strong communication skills
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to organize independently, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Enjoy helping others in a team atmosphere.

Business major or advanced degree a plus.
