Manufacturing Tech Buffer Prep

JOB DESCRIPTION

•The main job function for this position is preparing buffers

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for lab stock materials

• Provide sterilized lab materials for experiments

• Perform routine assembly of test kits to written protocols under supervision of scientific leads

• Monitor and process biohazard materials

• Document information by maintaining logs and equipment record books

• Maintain a culture of safety in the facilities

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Use of appropriate judgement for time management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree required

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures

• Compliance with all safety rules and regulations

• Ability to understand, speak, read and write in the English language

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work well with their hands.

• Proven experienced in maintaining and implementing standard procedures.

• Strong knowledge of general laboratory equipment (e.g. balances, pH meters, pipettes, centrifuges, etc.) is nice to have

• Must be detail-oriented

• Must work effectively within a fast-paced environment to meet applicable deadlines

• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision

• Must be courteous, service-oriented and flexible working with a variety of staff
