Financial Director

OVERVIEW

NGON Solutions is hiring a Senior Financial position to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you’ll be instrumental in managing the company’s finance. This role will be the main point of contact for vendors, clients and partners of NGON.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal reporting and kpi's within the company and create monthly budget reports
• Accountable for accurate reporting, preparing company statements and internal reporting
• Manage T&E review and AP/AR risk
• Responsible for invoices from external partners and clients
• Process employee’s payroll and timesheets
• Weekly financial reporting
• Manage requests from external audit and tax teams
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries and accruals
• Perform account reconciliations in a timely manner and resolve variances each month
• Complete month-end financial reporting and assist in performing monthly variance analysis
• Research and implement new accounting guidance
• Manage and track budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in developing, documenting and monitoring internal controls

Potential growth opportunity to the Executive Management Team:

• Assist in the creation of a strategic financial plan, including increasing revenue and reducing costs.
• Budget, forecast, and help oversee current and future investments and capital structures.
• Identifying investment opportunities and potential investment communities
• Structuring through capital markets for both debt and equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
• 2-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance or analytics roles
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Highly detailed-oriented and obsessively organized
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various levels of employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and programs
• Preferred experience managing new financing rounds for high growth startup
• Preferred track record of raising money for early stage companies
