Director of Sales- aluminum extrusion
Reports to the president/CEO.
Will be responsible for all sales plans, budgets, management, direction, and growth of the sales team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of five years’ experience in sales leadership required
• In depth knowledge of fabrication, finishing and assembly, with knowledge of the Aluminum Industry a plus
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and selling abilities
• Strategic thought processes

• Requires extensive travel with frequent, multi-night trips away from home/office
• Develop, deliver and implement annual sales plans to attain the company's objectives
• Produce annual sales budgets to meet the company’s short and long-term extrusion and value add objectives
• Responsible for all aspects of sales and sales growth
• Develop a list of new Customers and Product/Market opportunities to ensure sustainable growth objectives are attained
• Regular visits to the customers and prospects
• New account acquisitions
• Develop, and implement, the sales and account management policies and procedures
• Become highly proficient in, and familiar with, all aspects of the company’s operations, products, and services
• Strategically identify, pursue and grow opportunities with new and existing customers
• Have a full understanding of all customer and industry activities and provide feedback to the management team
• Work cooperatively, and effectively, and communicate across all departments within the company to create a results-driven, team-focused environment
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Manages the scope of work for all direct reports
• Develop Key Performance Indicators for the department
• Lead the sales team with clear direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in negotiations
o Negotiate and close deals
o Managing the execution of the contracts signed
• Work with Quality and Production on customer satisfaction
• Support advanced product quality planning and product launch
