Join the Cybersecurity Engineering Group within Honeywell Aerospace. You will work with a team of engineers to innovate and incubate cybersecurity technologies / solutions in safeguarding cyber-physical systems. You will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, test, and qualification of new security solutions. Your tasks will include critical thinking, analysis, security support, documentation, and recommendation of solutions to customers. You will be part of a team of engineers driving technical solutions that meet key program milestones and cost objectives.

Travel may be required within US/International: 10%.

This role will be in our Phoenix, Arizona facility.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 6+ years of professional group work experience
  • 6+ years of electronic hardware development experience
  • Circuit Design work experience in Defense and or Space sector
  • Must be a US Citizen with understanding that a DoD Clearance application will be required

WE VALUE

  • Extensive experience developing electronic circuits using PCB design tools (e.g., Altium and EAGLE), particularly for aerospace or military systems.
  • Extensive experience developing electronic hardware in development of PCBs, particularly for aerospace or military systems.
  • Extensive experience analyzing electronic hardware, test stations
  • Experience with hardware trouble shooting and reverse engineering using
  • Serial monitor, real-time logic / protocol analyzers such as Saleae
  • Oscilloscope (Tektronix preferred) to measure discrete-time signals that are digital and analog Simulation tools such as LT Spice, Proteus VM, Multisim
  • Developing filters for analog signals, such as ferrite beads and decoupling capacitors
  • Knowledge of FPGA Verilog, VHDL, or graphical design preferably with the Xilinx FPGAs
  • Knowledge of FPGA experience being able to implement IP cores with AXI bus
  • Ability to lead a small team of innovative thinkers developing cybersecurity hardware solutions
  • Knowledge of developing DAL A circuits
  • Comfortable working in continuous DevSecOps environment (e.g., Bitbucket and Bamboo) and create software installers
  • Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
  • Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
  • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
