Local Traveling Nurse - LPN

Local territory stems from Berthoud, CO to the Wyoming Border, with service to parts of Estes Park and Steamboat Springs, CO. Current case load and needs may vary with continued growth and scope of care.

Job Duties:

• Perform Care as defined by patients individual Plan of Care and within scope of the Colorado nurse practice act.
• Mobile Patient charting
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
• Variety of assignments with direction from RN Case Manager.

Requirements:

Current unrestricted LPN license in state of Colorado

Minimum one (2) year of documented experience required

Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance

Clean background and criminal record

Negative Pre-Employment Drug Screen

Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
