The Claims Advisory Group currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Manager.

The Claims Advisory Group is part of Insurance Risk Advisory (IRA) that helps clients review their risk management processes with a specific focus on how clients identify, evaluate, quantify, and implement opportunities to improve their claims management processes from an end-to-end perspective.

These services include assessing the following claims management functions:
- Digital intake capabilities
- Coordination of immediate needs
- Segmentation & auto adjudication capabilities
- Use of predictive analytics to predict severity
- Automation of coverage and evaluation capabilities
- Vendor management & oversight
- Fraud detection & analytics
- Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) & digital payment options
- Automated identification of claims for quality assurance review
- Subrogation identification and segmentation
- Evaluating internal risk management policies and procedures against industry leading practices
- Quantifying financial leakage and forecasting the impact to expense ratios

The Manager will manage the technical, business and team aspects of an engagement(s) and assist on internal practice initiatives as required.

Essential Duties:
- Lead the project management including planning, progress reporting, and executing on client projects
- Lead the preparation and evaluation of claims operating model designs and assessments, staffing and cost evaluations, etc.
- Manage day-to-day interaction and communications with client contacts, project staff and engagement leadership
- Oversee multiple client projects and manages them effectively for consistent progress
- Participate in business development activities
- Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day workload of Senior Associates and Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work products for client approval
- Ensure Senior Associates and Associates are trained on all relevant core competencies
- Evaluate the performance of Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development

Departmental Management
- Assists in practice management areas including recruiting, training and continuing education, practice quality initiatives, and others as required

Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; Communications, Accounting, Economics, Finance, preferred

Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in Insurance claims handling and/or professional client services role, required
- Experience in at least one of the following lines of business: workers' compensation, auto liability, general liability, group disability, preferred

License/Certifications:
- Completion or progress towards completion of the CPCU certification, preferred
- Completion or progress towards completion of the CRM certification, preferred

Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, required

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Contributes to the development of the engagement strategy
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
- Identifies and assists in practice business development efforts, including client pursuits and proposals
- Supports a collaborative and team-oriented environment while pushing themselves, their peers, and their teams for strong results and quality work
- Executive presence and ability to act as primary client contact on assigned engagements
- Effectively handles firm and practice administrative matters, including engagement staffing, client billing, monitoring project economics and adherence to Firm quality standards and protocols.

The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary
