POSITION summary
PrimeFlight Cargo is seeking a Ramp Agent to join our team!
As a Ramp Agent, you will perform a variety of duties including loading and unloading cargo, guiding aircraft to the gate, weighing, stacking and transporting cargo to and from various aircraft, and operating ground service equipment such as push backs, tugs and tow bars. Experience is preferred, but not required, as we provide paid training for this position.
Our Ramp Agents are guaranteed full-time hours, and some locations offer part-time positions. Since the cargo business runs 24/7, weekend and night shifts are sometimes required for our team members.

duties/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs aircraft
- Transports cargo to and from aircraft in a safe and timely manner
- Weighs, stacks, picks up, and delivers all cargo and accompanying paperwork and delivers to the appropriate location
- As qualified and directed, operates all power and other ground equipment, including push backs, tugs, tow bars, etc. to complete Aircraft Operations.
- Ensures the safety of all aircraft, cargo, equipment, and personnel at all times
- Provides friendly service to all co-workers and customers
- Keeps all areas clean and orderly, including storage areas, ramp area, break rooms, and surrounding work areas
- Marshalls, parks, and controls all aspects of security of aircraft while under their control
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a high noise environment
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
