Delivery Driver
Job Description
Objective: To enable excellent customer experiences by ensuring correct and timely materials delivery to job sites.
Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager
Summary of Position:
The delivery driver is responsible for staging and loading jobs daily according to the schedule, pick up and deliver parts from local distributors, and perform customer deliveries.

Qualifications:
Delivery Drivers must possess an ability to learn our most commonly utilized parts as well as be able to identify most of equipment utilized by the technicians. Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent with in-house job management software. The ability to manage time wisely while unsupervised is an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stage products in designated areas according to the job
- Check out products and load technician’s vans
- Pickup and delivery of equipment from vendors and suppliers, verifying order accuracy
- Transport and help deploy racked A/V systems and components.
- Manage travel efficiently to reduce technician’s waiting or unnecessary travel
- Coordinate van maintenance and vehicle swaps for repairs with technician crews
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with quarterly inventories
- Coordinate internal movement of product departmentally for rack build, programming, or firmware upgrades
- Handle customer initiated and internal returns, returning the product to stock or forwarding for vendor returns.
- Communicate effectively with and take direction from Project Managers, Lead Technicians and the Warehouse Manager
- Occasional on-site installation assistance where authorized
- Accurate time clock entries and job costing where applicable for materials delivery
- Local travel to job sites required
- Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as required
- Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Delivery Driver’s care and custody
- Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
- Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
- Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry 75-100lbs
- May require standing or stooping for extended periods
- May require ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal background
