Our client is an International has embarked on a major Digital Transformation initiative intended to significantly modernize our customers' experience of our products and services, both at the Distributor and Consumer levels. Strategically planned initiatives will upgrade our capabilities in Content, Commerce, CRM, Marketing Automation, and other frontiers, while also making major advancements in our leverage of business data through the implementation of a Data Lake and Business Analytics program. Beyond this, advancements across our back-office systems and infrastructure are envisioned. As they prepare to launch this next phase of our aggressive plans, they are seeking a progressive technology leader to drive our Architecture team to enable multi-cloud integration platform, influence decision makers on build vs. buy, platform evaluations and drive uplifting of overall Software Engineering discipline. The platforms architecture approach will deliver performance, scalability, interface simplicity, reliability, portability, modifiability, and maintainability. This leader will report directly to the Director of Solutions Delivery.
The ideal candidate will have Strong leadership skills over Architects and developers and, hands-on .NET Core, Microservices and Azure Cloud experience. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent project management acumen, excellent vendor and partner management capability, and strong team collaboration skills to ensure new solutions are embraced throughout the organization.

Technology-Oriented Qualifications:

• BS or MS in computer science or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience developing enterprise level software applications
• 3+ years of experience managing team of engineers and architects
• Proven ability to design for "ilities" across distributed systems (scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, reliability, etc.)
• The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to this role as well as ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of the Azure Cloud PaaS, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and API's.

• In depth knowledge of .NET, C#, relational (SQL, mySQL) as well as No-Sql databases
• Ability to influence technical needs w/business and technical team members where collaboration and communication skill are essential
• Demonstrated skill in designing enterprise software solutions using standard architectural principles and practices

• Experience in Agile Methodology and associated processes, teams, tools
• Experience with OWASP secure coding practices
• Experience with DevOps concepts and practices

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:

• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills
