How you will make an impact

- Lead all billing and reporting activities according to deadlines

- Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

- Update customer files to ensure data integrity

- Act as a company representative in upholding quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

- Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

- Process Payments

- Comply with all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

- Record all customer payments to the correct reports

- Accurately process bankruptcy filings when received

- Skills in electronic billing

- Experience with Billing Functions

- General familiarity with Detailed Documentation

- Well-founded grasp of Complete Documentation

- Dispute Resolution experience

- Expertise in commercial collections

- Solid understanding of Commercial Collections

- Aged Receivables experience preferred

- Earlier work involving Process Documentation

- Proven knowledge of Dispute Resolution

- Prior experience with Billing Collection

- Comprehension of Billing Statements

- Hands-on experience with billing

- Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Practical knowledge of documentation

- Good understanding of Supporting Documentation

- Previous experience working with Correct Billing

- Wide ranging experience with Prepare Documentation

- Quality experience with Maintain Documentation

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

- 1+ years of prior high volume collections experience

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

- Previous experience using accounting software

- Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses
