Description: Provide oversight to a team of hourly employees in a high pace environment to ensure all products are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Must be able to ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal customers and employees.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for teams productivity while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.Responsible for transition of work requirements between shifts Manage and approve employee(s) timekeeping in SAP. Audits employees labor charging and timesheet for accuracy and approves in accordance with the companys labor reporting and time and attendance procedure.Manages employee performance and development and drives accountability through performance review process, disciplinary actions, coaching, training needs assessment, etc. Must be able to develop employees skills and prepare them for future job assignments.Ensures employees follow proper work methods and procedures, proper use of tools and equipment, safety rules and quality and quantity standards. Checks work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instructs as required.Understands and follows rules and regulations pertaining to EH&S; contributes to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator-required upkeep; segregates waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.Investigates and reports discrepancies and variables to Operations, Quality and Engineering Management for corrective action Manage direct and indirect budgetApplies and enforces company policies and procedures consistently. Keeps abreast of all changes to modifications and specifications related to the area of responsibility.Coordinates with personnel within and outside department to resolve operational challenges and resource constraints to ensure customer commitments are met.Must be capable of effectively interfacing with a variety of internal and external customers
