Job Description
We are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our growing Finance team!
As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will report directly to the Director, External Reporting. You will lead the creation of a best-in-class Financial Reporting function for a growing telecommunications company. You will support the Company's development and implementation of a Financial Reporting function including analyzing operational results, managing the complete cycle from drafting financial statements and footnotes to final issuance. You will partner with internal business leaders, external auditors and the legacy company reporting groups. You will have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal and will need to be proactive and detail oriented.

Job Description
We are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our growing Finance team!
As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will report directly to the Director, External Reporting. You will lead the creation of a best-in-class Financial Reporting function for a growing telecommunications company. You will support the Company's development and implementation of a Financial Reporting function including analyzing operational results, managing the complete cycle from drafting financial statements and footnotes to final issuance. You will partner with internal business leaders, external auditors and the legacy company reporting groups. You will have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal and will need to be proactive and detail oriented.
As Manager, Financial Reporting, your duties will include:
- Oversee reporting obligations and ensure timely submission of all required reporting for parent companies, debt holders and management
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder groups to assess, validate and ensure accuracy of all reporting
- Assist in the completion of the monthly and quarterly allocations and consolidation process
- Prepare and review various required financial covenant calculations
- Assess, develop and maintain proper policies and procedures, maintain documentation, and change management approach for all reporting areas to provide assurance that the Company is operating a best-in-class reporting environment
- Identify and communicate issues and improvement opportunities
- Stays current on new and evolving GAAP requirements, assess impact, partner with Accounting to design and implement changes and ensure compliance
- Provide vision and business requirements to technology teams to develop financial system needs
- Liaison with internal and external auditors to facilitate a timely audit process and report to various stakeholders on the status of internal/external audits
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- 10+ years relevant experience in Accounting and Reporting
- Strong communication, planning and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret accounting guidance.
- Experience working hands-on with other cross-functional team leaders in improving compliance processes and systems
- Complete ownership and accountability of the function given the deadline- oriented nature of the position
- Adaptable to changing business environment and organizational structure
- Master’s Degree
- CPA accreditation
- Telecommunications industry knowledge
- Experience with SAP
