Bus Operator- City of Longview Transit

Longview Transit has immediate openings for both full and part-time bus operators. A CDL is required with experience in transit preferred.

Position requirements include:

-Excellent customer service skills
-Must have a valid driver's license for at least 5 years
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must pass DOT Physical, drug test, and background check
-Speak and read English well enough to converse and communicate effectively with the general public.
-Must have compassion for and desire to work with the general public

-Must obtain a CDL License with passenger endorsement within four weeks

Full-time benefits:

-Local driver; home every night; Sundays off

-$16.50 per hour starting salary after orientation and training period

Additional Details:

-Must be willing to work all hours of operations Monday-Saturday 6am- 7:00pm
