Production and Inventory Control Coordinator



Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a proactive, positive, flexible, person with a can-do attitude. The candidate needs to be highly organized, have superior analytical and communication skills, and be self-starting. They also possess a sense of humor and a degree, preferably in a related field. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual looking to gain broad experience to support a career path in production and operations. Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Support

  • Issues and maintains work orders in the ERP system and in the production control system.
  • Reviews completed work orders and transact the closing.
  • Resolves cost discrepancies at work order closing.
  • Prepares production reports.

Inventory Control

  • Monitor and transact ERP warehouse transfer demand.
  • Ensures inventory transactions and adjustments are processed.
  • Monitors and arranges the transfer of inventory to the service warehouse.
  • Manage the bulk inventory system and place bulk orders.
  • Ownership of the Energetiq cycle count program to include, execution reconciliation, posting and reporting.
  • Prepares inventory reports
  • Directing and processing third parties’ material receipts
  • Investigate supplier invoice variances were applicable

Quality Assurance

  • MRB transaction processing

Back up for other Roles

  • Receiver
  • Logistics Coordinator

Other

  • Special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum education includes a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably engineering.
  • Three to five years of experience in production and inventory control.
  • Extremely organized
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong detail and organizational skills, especially pertaining to data collection and documentation.

  • The ability to use positive interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts.

  • APICS certification a plus.
