Freelance Production Assistant

IIL Media, a division of International Institute for Learning, Inc., is seeking a freelance Production Assistant to work with an award-winning, seasoned video production team at our full-service production facility in midtown New York City. Interested candidates must be detail-oriented, take direction, good writing skills, organized, focused, self-motivated, highly creative, and able to work collaboratively or independently.

This is a non-remote position, all candidates for this position must be willing to work full-time at our NY Office Headquarters located in mid-town New York City.

The media division produces a wide variety of corporate video projects, including educational training presentations, marketing, sales spots, webpage videos, public relations, business case studies, and mini documentaries.

Depending on experience, the pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

This contract work consists of one project, with a possible extension to a second, which will be assessed after the first project wraps:

The first project runs from……. August 8 to November 4th, 2022

The second project runs from……. November 4th, 2022, to March 3rd, 2023

Candidates must currently be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof, i.e., social security card, authorized INS Working card, or Green Card. Candidates must provide at least two work-related references.

As a Production Assistant, you will work on various studio/location productions with a team consisting of a Senior Producer/Director, Production Manager, Associate Producer, and video Editor. You must be willing to work full-time Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm in the IIL Media Production facility located at 485 Madison Avenue, New York City. Some domestic travel may be required. A U.S. driver’s license, and Passport are a plus.

Our offices, studio, and editing areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized. There is 6 feet or more separation between employee desks. Only editors are allowed in the edit rooms. Partitions and personal UV Air Cleaners, hand sanitizer, are furnished to all employees. All IIL new employees, including freelancers, must provide proof of full vaccination before they can access the worksite.
