Accountant
The Staff Accountant is an entry to mid-level public accounting professional who will work directly with our clients and be an integral part of delivering high quality assurance and tax services. Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and workpapers for audit, review, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
- Assist experienced engagement team members in planning and coordinating various stages of various assurance engagements
- Ability to prepare and maintain key management reports including but not limited to cash flow statements, overhead budgeting analysis, monthly and annual profit and loss projections, etc.
- Perform regular monthly bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare tax returns including corporate, partnership, S-Corporation, trust and individual tax returns
- Keep up-to-date on current accounting, audit, and tax practices and changes in laws/regulations
- Respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Licensed CPA or CPA eligible (Reimbursement and additional compensation for obtaining CPA
- license is available)
- 1-2 years of Public Accounting experience
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Previous Creative Solutions Accounting software and QuickBooks experience a big plus
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships both internally & externally with clients
