Resort Operations Assistant
As a Resort Operations Assistant you will support internal communication, local and global programs and events for a region of resort properties. You will develop programs and activities designed to enhance the Cast experience. These can include Cast recognition events, renovations of Cast common backstage areas, diversity and inclusion activities, environmentality awareness, among others. You will also have daily interactions with the resort executive team to provide updates and ensure programs align to priorities of the resorts. You will report to the Resort General Manager.
A portfolio of design and written samples may be requested to be considered for this role.
You Will:
Develop and implement local and global programs to enhance Cast experience
Create communication collateral associates with the projects and events in scope
Meet with local executives to share updates and identify priorities of focus for the Cast programs and events
Work with resort Leaders, Project Managers, partners and vendors to develop projects
Provide reporting to executive leadership team on financial aspects associated with projects and events
Purchase items and supplies needed for programs and events
You Have:
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting projects or events with budgets
High proficiency creating presentations and collateral using PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop/Illustrator or similar software
Advanced skills proofreading content for effectiveness and accuracy
Commitment to promote an inclusive work environment that supports workforce diversity and diverse perspectives
High competency managing requests and priorities simultaneously amidst constant change
Creativity to find solutions, removing barriers and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Competency to work with partners and leaders from all organizational levels
Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and occasional nights
Ability to lift 40+ pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience leading projects or events from planning to implementation stage
Proficiency with SAP, SharePoint, CastTV
Knowledge of A/V equipment and set-up
Experience with movie editing software
Experience using AP Style
Proficient in Mac and Windows systems
Bi-lingual writing and translation capability in Spanish or Haitian Creole
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Communication or Event Planning degree
