Customer Experience and Processing Associate - Powersports Division



Job Description

Kenda Tire manufactures wheels and tires for ATV, bicycle, golf, industrial, light truck, mobility, motorcycle, passenger car, trailer, and utility applications. In addition to a comprehensive portfolio of Kenda brand retail products, we supply fleet volumes of wheels and tires to some of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world. Our Reynoldsburg, Ohio location is the site of Kenda USA, which manages all aspects of Kenda's North American operations.

The Powersports (motorcycle, ATV, SxS) division of Kenda USA is a tight-knit, pragmatic, high-energy crew. Our division has experienced substantial growth, and we're seeking an enthusiastic new member of our team to grow and learn with us. No experience with Powersports products is necessary to succeed in this position.

Attention to detail is everything. As a Customer Experience & Processing Associate, you will facilitate some of our division's most vital functions, including processing orders, shipments, and warranty claims. You'll also respond to inquiries from customers, which include both businesses and consumers. You will gain in-demand knowledge in consumer goods sales, MAP policy implementation, fulfillment, and after-sale service. Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurately entering and importing sales orders for processing
  • Creating shipping documents, invoicing customers, and providing tracking information
  • Assisting customers with order inquiries and product questions via phone or email
  • Digitally receiving and processing large orders via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system
  • Processing and logging warranty claims and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
  • Correcting shipping errors, facilitating exchanges and returns
  • Creating summary reports, pricing lists, and sales analyses using Microsoft Excel
  • Assisting the department as needed, which may include travel to trade shows, events, and other special projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office suite experience (Excel and Outlook in particular)
  • ERP (Sage, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) knowledge
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system experience
  • Parcel and LTL shipping experience
  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal, interpersonal communication
  • Comfort working cohesively with multiple external groups simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, organized, and excellent time management skills
  • Experience with, and ability to adhere to, firm deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and processes and multitask when necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Associate degree or 1-2 years experience in sales support, customer service, shipping, or related area preferred
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience required
  • Ability to work in an office environment, and occasionally, warehouse and offsite locations
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. from ground

Working Environment

Work is typically performed in an office work environment. Occasional tasks in the warehouse or offsite locations may be required.

Position Type & Expected Work Hours:

This position works full-time Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 5:30 PM. There may be periods when overtime is required. Any time worked over 40 hours per week is subject to overtime wage. This position is not eligible for work from home (WFH).
