Job Details

Duties:
  • Responsible for managing site optimization, merchandising and maintenance of high traffic US websites and their Canadian counterparts.
  • Partner closely with the UX/UI team, Creative, Marketing and Engineering to develop a best-in-class site experience, maintaining high standards of quality, user experience, performance and compliance.
  • Manage 2-person Site Operations team, day-to-day and long-term maintenance of the website including product launches, promotions, site merchandising and content management
  • Proactively review the site with a customer-first mindset, identifying operational and customer experience problems, while suggesting and delivering solutions
  • Troubleshoot website errors and take the lead on quality assurance projects
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop documentation for digital experience SOPs and best practices cross-functionally
  • Define and build site operations processes, reporting and KPIs; Analyze and recommend strategies to increase revenue and conversion, optimize site usability and advance the online business
  • Maintain technical proficiency in content management tools, policies, and procedures
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative and UX teams to execute projects and keep the operations of the site running smoothly
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines and provide feedback, ensuring deliverables align with project goals

Ideal background:
  • 5-7 years online merchandising experience or experience executing website initiatives and attainment of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with Shopify (required) and Salsify (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ecommerce business model (i.e. Product Maintenance, Customer Service, User Experience, etc.)
  • Ideally, experience in process development and implementation for site operations in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to lead, teach and mentor Site Operations Specialist, helping them achieve his/her full potential
