Job Description Under the INSCOM I2TS-Next program, Cognosante is seeking to fill a Storage & Virtualization (Level 4) SME for the Department of Defense to support an Enterprise-wide IT contract for the US Army military intelligence (MI) community. The candidate will be responsible for meeting all aspects of storage & virtualization requirements at the site, for planning and integration of new/emerging capabilities, and resolving storage and virtualization issues/challenges across the global Army MI IT enterprise. Responsible for developing / enforcing TTPs for storage and virtualization operations across the Army MI IT enterprise. *This is contingent upon contract award* Key Responsibilities * Accountable for all aspects of storage and virtualization requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day execution of related operational activities.
* Responsible for VMware Infrastructure services to include development life cycle, configuration, capacity management/provisioning, modernization, security, maintenance, and accountability.
* Responsible for meeting all technical requirements related to storage and virtualization technologies in support of operations both sanctuary and deployment.
* Ensures that processes and network/systems infrastructure meet performance requirements.
* Point-of-Contact for storage and virtualization related issues at the site.
* Authorized to act on all matters relating to the daily operation of the task order related to Storage and Virtualization. Required Qualifications * DoD IAT Level III Certifications in one of the following: CCNP, CCSP or Security+ certification.
* Associate's degree in a technology related field.
* Ten years with Network and Storage Virtualization.
* Experience in designing/implementing/troubleshooting network infrastructure and security on multi-classification networks.
* Capable of SOFA Compliance for work in Korea and Japan.
* TS/SCI Security Clearance Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.
