This contractor focuses on the construction of commercial and Multi-family projects. This firm boasts an impressive list of repeat clients and stable pipeline of projects. With a number of projects currently in the design/conceptual phases, this construction firm is looking to onboard a Preconstruction Manager to join their Pre-Construction division to help price projects as they move from the design phase to the Pre-Construction phase.
Your new role
The Pre-construction Manager job entails being responsible for the accuracy of the estimate, prepare bid list with subcontractors/ Able to create schematics, design development, and construction estimates/ Capable of handling ground up, renovations, and interior projects/ Perform value engineering on projects and ability to clearly present add alternatives for a project/ Maintain company records
What you'll need to succeed
To qualify for this Pre-construction Manager job, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. In addition to these education requirements, you must also have a minimum of 3 years construction estimating/preconstruction experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong Math and Accounting skills, proficient in computer systems (i.e. Bluebeam). Ability to meet critical deadlines.
