Staff Tax Accountant

We are a growing well established dynamic Salem, OR CPA firm with a diverse client base that has a great opportunity for an experienced staff accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and other tax returns

• Assist clients with tax and accounting questions

• Communicate with clients providing tax planning and tax savings strategies

• Assist CPAs with special projects

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses

• Team player

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Willing and able to work directly with clients

• Experience with QuickBooks, CCH Engagement and Lacerte tax software a plus

• Detail and deadline-oriented

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30 - $40 per hour
