ABOUT THE JOB
As a Customer Service Representative, you represent Essentra Packaging to the customer and act as a critical liaison between the customer, sales, and operations teams. The CSR receives and processes routine and complex customer orders, and responds to inquiries and/or customer issues related to orders. You are a vital link that maintains the positive ongoing relationship with customers and sales staff, utilizing knowledge of our products, logistics, production planning, and inventory management.

JOB DETAILS
- Client Contact – conduct phone calls, coordinate and facilitate client meetings, submits sample requirements, coordinate applicable shipments
- Attend pre-production meetings and send out order acknowledgments
- RFQs – Leads requests for quotes and submits pricing to client and sales representative
- Client Approvals - Follow up with clients regarding status of approvals and maintain job approvals
- Specification Maintenance – Responsible to enter item specifications, maintaining the client in ASI System, and revising specs/instructions based on manufacturing feedback
- Sales Support – provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team, participate in weekly calls to review highlights
- CRM Maintenance – Maintain system with all appropriate requests, and notes to keep sales force informed. Keep system updated to reflect current client status

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand requests and problems, inform on the status and develop positive solutions
- Ability to simplify and solve simple to complex issues with a focus on the root cause and quick solution development and issue mitigation
- Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork skills across all functions outlined to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to see/read a computer and work via telephone
- Must be able to climb stairs, step ladders, lift and move boxes
