We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service. Work in our new FW Murphy facility located in Rosenberg, Texas. A rich benefits package will be offered.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate the 6S program and support safety efforts to create/maintain a safe/clean work environment

Promote (and address) PATH (Personal Actions, Transforming Habits) cards by making sure they are submitted, highlighting safe and unsafe practices in and around the factory

Coordinate with training department and track status to assure all employees are either actively in training and/or have completed the 4-step training program for the tasks they are performing

Continuously monitor and work to improve the quality of personnel output, i.e. NCM (Non-Conforming Materials), OBA (Out of Box failures), line discrepancies, etc.

Work in partnership with quality, manufacturing, and design engineering on projects involving continuous improvement

Use Lean Six Sigma tools to achieve Overdrive performance

Create, monitor, and report on the Daily/Weekly Production Plan

Monitor status, adjust resources, report-on/conduct meetings concerning achievement of acceptable levels of key performance indicators in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and cost reduction

Conduct on-going performance counseling and periodic reviews with the intent of coaching and developing each member of team

Actively participate in collaboration team activities, lead the team on issues pertaining to production, periodically lead team meetings

Coordinate staffing levels and the daily activities of the Team Leads, provide attrition reason codes to management

Administer all policies, procedures, work, and test instructions associated with the assigned cells/lines

Performs other duties, assignments, and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Work equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years in a progressive, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment
  • 1-3 years supervising production
  • 1-3 years working within an ISO 9000 quality management system
