Quotes Associate
The Quotes Associate will gather data to create proposals for needed work to be completed under a current or new work order.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with customers, technicians, and other staff to understand the services being offered.
- Determines needs for additional staff, parts, materials, and other resources.
- Estimates costs of parts, equipment, and billable hours
- Identifies the pricing structure required for products to sell at profit.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the a bility to create forecasts based on financial data.
- Proficient with accounting software and cost software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software .
- Two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
