Program Manager
Currently, RG is looking to hire a Program Manager to support our Air Force Program Depot Maintenance Schedule System customer. This role will be critical in supporting our customers overarching mission of delivering sustained quality Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul within the Air Force Air Logistics Complexes.
A Day In the Life:
To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for leading and managing the delivery of administrative, program/project management, financial management and strategic planning efforts in support of an Air Force system program of record sustainment; development of new software delivering new capabilities; and providing site specific analyst support. Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and management of a team in executing a broad range professional support services including administrative support, program/project management, financial management and strategic planning efforts.
Interfacing with the client and stakeholders on project specific issues and objectives.
Directing the completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
Coordinating project-specific engagements and reviewing work products for completeness and adherence to customer requirements.
Gathering data, conducting analyses, and developing reports on a recurring basis to communicate program/project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Delivering presentations and leading client meetings.
Assuming the role of leader and manager in charge of massive, enterprise-level, complex projects with the ability to manage multiple Agile teams, and integrating their work with activities outside their scope.
Helping the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members.
Defining the projects schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries and organizing and leading working and project status meetings.
Delivering Agile projects that offer outstanding business value to the users.
Supporting the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customers expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system.
Promoting team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.
Required Skills
The Program Manager is an exempt, experienced business professional that has a documented track record of excellent consulting/functional performance. This individual provides subject matter expertise directly to customers (internal or external) in one or more of RG's core solutions. This role is responsible for leading and managing teams.
Required Experience
To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.
BA/BS Degree
10+ years' experience with at least one or more of the following: DoD acquisition processes, DoD/Air Force program management, Industry or Government business management
5+ years supervisory experience
2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management, budget development, and execution
Experience with developing, managing, and analyzing budgets, spend plans, schedules and associated reporting/briefs
Self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills and be customer oriented
Ability to clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing
Highly experienced and proficient with standard business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Project) and web-enabled collaboration platforms/applications
Led in an Agile Framework and Agile Software Development environment where flexible methodology involving cross-functional and self-organizing teams that work and collaborate with the products customers or end-users was used
Current NACI or ability to obtain
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (estimated at one week per month)

MA/MS Degree
15+ years' experience with at least one or more of the following: DoD acquisition processes, DoD/Air Force program management, Industry or Government business management.

Outstanding organizational skills, especially the ability to prioritize, focus on the projects critical components and ignore unnecessary or distracting work

Strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum
The ideal candidate has official certification and training in project management
