Supply Clerk with Security Clearance

Job Description The U.S. Government Department of Defense (DoD) Gateway at Wahiawa, Hawaii utilizes the STEP System and DoD Teleport capability enhancements to provide additional SATCOM systems coverage and robust GIG/DIS services. Accesses to DISN services are via multi-media Radio Frequency (RF) connections. This multi-media RF includes existing SATCOM systems (i.e., Super High Frequency (SHF) (DSCS X-Band), UHF, and EHF), future Ka, as well as commercial SHF Wideband systems in the C and Ku bands. The Gateway consists of the Service Delivery Node (SDN) providing connections to the Defense Switched Network (DSN), DISN Video Services (DVS), Defense Red Switched Network (DRSN), and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) services are provided via the ITSDN. In addition to providing tactical and strategic forces with a point of entrance into the DoDIN and legacy tactical C4I services with reliable high-throughput telecommunications, the site supports all frequency spectrums to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Western Hemisphere, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Chief of Naval Operations, U.S. Pacific Command, Commander U.S, Pacific Fleet, Commander Seventh Fleet, Commander Marine Forces Pacific, Commander Pacific Air Forces, Special Operations Command, National Security Agency, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Australian Defense Forces. DoD Gateway Wahiawa provides direct support Joint Communication Control Centers (JCCC) of deployed Joint Task forces (JTF) or Combined/Coalition task forces (CTF) providing satellite integration capabilities to connect tactical terminals intra/inter theater to other deployed terminals, for a seamless interoperability with the DoDIN. Kaneohe Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM) is located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), on the island of Oahu. The communications structure provides rapid, reliable, secure communications support for Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Two (CPRW2), Tactical Support Center (TSC), and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) IAW contract N00604-16-F-3004. NRTF Lualualei is located near the town of Maili, on the westernside of the island of Oahu. The station provides 24-hour around the clock support to the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS), Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF) for Submarine Forces, Pacific. The station also provides 24-hour x 7 support for High Frequency (HF) Communications to the Fleet and other Joint DoD users of the High Frequency Global Communications Systems (HFGCS). The Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) program provides the war-fighter with 3G cellular capabilities in the field. There are four MUOS sites which consist of Ground Transport, Ground Infrastructure, Network Management, and Satellite Control Systems. The selected candidate will work directly on a U.S. Government Department of Defense (DoD) contract for the Program Manager of BAE Systems Inc. As the Supply Clerk, on an 8x5 (Monday - Friday) work schedule, the candidate will: Duties Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Report directly to the Program Manager
* Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, Local or other supply activities U.S. Navy SATCOM Facility at NCTAMSPAC, Wahiawa, H. * Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. * Assignment usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. * The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. * This work may require (a) consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations. established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
* Maintenance of the ready to issue inventory * Will receive items from Navy Supply or Purchase Order shipments, complete receiving reports, issue items to technicians as required, accept repair parts requisitions, review same for accuracy and completeness and forward them to the BAE SUPPLY Technician at NRTF Lualualei & at SATCOM Wahiawa.
* Will also maintain the SATCOM Test Equipment Inventory, and perform duties as SATCOM Test Equipment Coordinator, and SATCOM GFE Inventory Custodian on behalf of the Program Manager. * Performs and assists with station/site inventories using Site Asset Management Tool (SAM-T)
* Performs/coordinates Return Material Authorization with DOD/Commercial entities
* Receive, store, issue, and stage materials, including HAZMAT * Load and unload materials and place in designated locations * Ensure that all transactions are properly documented * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment * Comply with laws and regulations for the handling, labeling, and storage of HAZMAT
* Identifies freight by piece and item on Government Bills of Lading (GBL), DD1348's, Material Movement Documents (MMD), Delivery Control List (DCL), requisitions, carrier arrival notices and other transportation documents. * Performs count and damage record discrepancies. * Processes material from receiving areas to storage areas. * Assembles material for shipments or for issue. * Places material in priority sequence for processing. * Operates material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts trucks (gas and electric); hand and electric pallet trucks, hand trucks, pallet jacks and stock picking carts. * Uses various hand tools such as hammers, wire cutters, pocket knives, carton openers, nail pullers, cut- off wheels and power hacksaws.
* Other duties as assigned Required Education, Experience, & Skills The selected candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Pre-employment drug screening.
* Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* Must be able to read and write English
* Must be able to lift 45-pound packages and carry horizontally for 50 feet
* Must be able to operate a computer and be efficient with Microsoft Office
* Must have experience in the use of government provided One Touch program to research logistical data in order to verify part numbers and National Stock Numbers as requested
* Successful completion of an armed services supply technical training in a military supply NEC, MOS or AFSC with three years of actual experience can be substituted for five years of actual experience. * Documentation of successful completion of training must be provided with resume and must include course content. DD Form 214 is acceptable for US Armed Forces Service Schools; however, certificates of completion are desired
* Five years experience in technical supply management work (ie US Navy Supply Requisitioning Procedures, developing cost data to ensure material is required at lowest cost, inventory management, cataloging, issuing, and receiving supplies and materials)
* At a minimum, successful completion of High School or GED equivalent.
