We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Finish Carpenter/Painter to build, paint and install photo studio sets. You may work on a variety of projects, including; wall construction, demolition, floor installation, window and door construction, cabinet making and installation, sanding, paint prep, painting, metal framing, drywall hanging and finishing, various trim installations, studio set component installations. Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements and environment. We prefer candidates who have prior experience in trim carpentry and painting but are willing to train a motivated individual who works hard and learns quickly.

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Finish Carpenter/Painter to build, paint and install photo studio sets. You may work on a variety of projects, including; wall construction, demolition, floor installation, window and door construction, cabinet making and installation, sanding, paint prep, painting, metal framing, drywall hanging and finishing, various trim installations, studio set component installations. Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements and environment. We prefer candidates who have prior experience in trim carpentry and painting but are willing to train a motivated individual who works hard and learns quickly.
- Minimum of 3 years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Work well with other team members and can collaborate effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Perform work in accordance with OSHA safety standards
- Good understanding of basic math
- Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches and understand project specifications
- Proficient in using all carpentry hand and power tools
- Build doors, walls, windows, and a variety of interior and exterior components
- Measure, cut and install finish trim accurately
- Metal framing, gypsum board installation and finishing
- Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, spackling, sanding, and priming
- Applying paints and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Layout, cut and install various flooring materials
- Install hardware such as door handles, locks, hinges, and light fixtures
- Ability to work at various heights using ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
