About the team

The Vice President of Product Innovation will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. Our VP of Product innovation identifies and oversees the development of new product modules, services, and bundles as well as oversees the success of existing modules. We seek a strong innovative leader who enjoys working with other high output leaders, managers and has a bias for action. The leader embodies a growth mindset and helps our team identify and scale new opportunities to provide customer value. This leader has a relentless curiosity, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with marketing, sales and support teams, and C-suite. What you will do

• Innovate and launch new capabilities for our customers and prospects
• Monitor customer trends and share insights with stakeholders - turn external insights into action through impactful analysis
• Perform rapid hypothesis testing with the goal of determining paths to delivering maximum customer value
• Be an innovation thought partner for internal and external customers
• Develop, lead, and excite a distributed team of creative and collaborative people
• Provide mentorship, linking performance to overall business objectives and outcomes
• Lead the end to end product life cycle across new product lines, including market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success
• Engage directly with customers during pre-sales and post-sales implementations to ensure the product will help them reach their desired business outcomes
• Translate customer requirements and use cases into functional designs
• Lead a team of product managers to build new features in alignment with company strategy
• Measure and report on key metrics
• Be a key evangelist of product and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders, and market analysts
• Work closely with our users, research, and customer success to deeply understand and address user needs and build a long term vision on the innovation front

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience building and growing products at scale
• 5+ years of proven leadership managing and growing a strong PM team and senior level PM leaders
• Experience in an enterprise SaaS startup with scale from 50M->100M ARR
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to interpret data to create actionable insights
• Demonstrated experience increasing user adoption and activation through improved flow and UX
• You love building products that make our customers feel joy, delight and trust - you care deeply about the product craft and practice
• You are a strategic product thinker with a track record of identifying new opportunities in a changing technical and market landscape
• You have demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers at scale
• You are a strong communicator with an ability to influence with cross-functional collaboration skills; you are able to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic contexts
