In this role, you will:
- Recommend strategy/process/policy improvements relevant for all credit risk originations teams based on analysis, regulatory requirements, and business partner initiatives to Senior Management and business partners
- Identify and execute against strategic opportunities to support the ongoing refinement of credit policy and business operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure flawless data process, analysis, and accurate credit strategy implementation
- Represent Originations Risk Strategy as a subject matter expert on various cross-functional project teams
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
- Review and analyze complex strategies, programs, and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics

- Act as an Originations Risk subject matter expert on various cross-functional project teams
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years credit risk, finance, or credit portfolio management experience with a consumer lending product, auto highly preferred
- SAS programming experience or experience with other programming languages such as R or Python
- Proven statistical analysis capabilities, and experience creating large analytical datasets
- Exceptional problem solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience delivering presentations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.
