Sales Representative

Our field sales team needs to expand to meet the needs required by our customers in the metalworking manufacturing industry. We’re seeking a person of high character who enjoys making a difference, eager to learn, dependable, confident, computer savvy, detail oriented, and has an extensive background as a machinist or equivalent understanding of manufacturing tools and operations, specifically those products used around CNC equipment or Fabrication. Responsibilities and Duties

Supports the needs of an approved active customer account list through in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.

• Responsible for new account acquisition, as well as uncovering and developing new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintains regular contact with new and existing customers, continually working to understand problem areas and developing solutions to address them.
• Works with the inside sales team to communicate needs for quotes and orders.
• Meets with Manager of Sales monthly to review each individual customer account.
• Initial training and onboarding period will be substantial in order to learn company policy, customer base, and Jobboss system - this will include working in the inside sales department for a period of time.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

• High School Degree or equivalent required

Skills/Requirements

• Ability to build working relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives.
• Willingness to research and work to resolve customer issues.
• Machine Shop background or equivalent understanding of cutting tools and CNC operations and Fabrication is helpful.

Experience:

• Machine Shop, Fabrication, or Cutting Tool Sales: 2 years Exp

A rapidly growing company servicing multiple industries conveniently located 9 miles east of Canton, and is located between Minerva and Alliance. We are a full-service machine shop servicing many industries, including aerospace and automotive. We have water jet capabilities and 3D printing as well.
