SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President of NGS, reporting to the COO, will develop and execute the strategy of the New Generation Systems Business. This role oversees full spectrum of NGS including Product Development, Environment Solutions, Commercial Operations, Project Execution, Hydrogen Production, and Engineering. Products include gas turbines, Combined Cycle Power Trains, and green H2 production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Leadership in execution on Mitsubishi Power safety and quality objectives
Provide strategic planning, leadership, and management to assure NGS operations meet or exceed objectives for MPW-A
P&L Leader for MPW-A new equipment business
Develop and execute NGS strategies, in alignment with long term goals of MPW-A, with a focus on optimizing the operational efficiencies
Coordinate and drive the business relationship with the Business Unit leaders to define the long-term strategy and organization capability development
Communicate with parent company to implement NGS strategy and to represent the Company in the Americas relating to new equipment business.
Develop NGS business plans and budget plans that support both the long-term and the short-term objectives of the business
Manage and develop relationship with customer
Collaborate with key stakeholders and Business Leaders to achieve mutual goals
Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiative as part of the leadership team
Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions
Oversee project controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones
Continuously strives to improve the products, tools and work processes including cost reductions, time reductions, product reliability and enhancements, commercial capabilities and to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent training and experience required. Masters Preferred. 15 years of experience in role required, with significant leadership experience.
Experience in Power Generation industry and / or EPC industry preferred.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly master technology used in the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of safety and quality policies and procedures.
Previous project management or business development experience a plus
